Ladies and gentlemen, I am proud to announce the long awaited sequel to "r/custommagic designs a magic set!". To start, we'll be deciding the colour of the set's border and whether the set will be designed from the bottom down or the top up. Good lukc

Two years ago, me and a talented group of designers from this subreddit built the Gilded Depths, an entire playable (admittedly somewhat broken) set. Now, I have returned and have decided to start this up again.

Hopefully, over the next few months, we will build something that rivals or preferably exceeds the Gilded Depths in playability. If you're the kinda person to get sick of repetitive posts, I've included a custom tag that I'll use under all these posts so you can filter them out.

Anyway, without further ado, here is the first post of "r/custommagic designs a magic set 2.0. In this first post, the goal is to decide whether our new set will be black or silver bordered and designed from the bottom down (designed so that the narrative and world fit around the mechanics) or the top up (designed so that the mechanics fit the narrative and world).
