Yesterday while I was studying for my exam, I had a brutal pain in my stomach that would not go away. After about an hour, I drove myself to the ER and figured out I needed my appendix removed and had the surgery late Friday night. My options are move my exam to July or just suck it up and take it May 12th. The timing of this is truly brutal because I’m moving in June and have a baby on the way in October.

I made the decision today to just tough it out and get my life back. It’s going to be brutal sitting in a chair for 8 hours post op, but I’m ready to be free. Apologies in advance to the people who will hear me grunting and groaning during the test.
