I will keep my opinion short and let you form your own based on the pictures. Both batches did a good job on these. There is a slight color difference between the two. Not sure which one is the exact same as retail without a retail pair in hand.
RSD has a better toe box and stitching IMO. Outside of that they are pretty close to each other. Their shapes are similar but not the same. Both leathers feel like good quality. Will follow up with how they bend after they have both been worn.

I don’t want to sway either way but check the pics out for yourself. Really it comes down to are the little things more important to you or is the price. Can’t go wrong with either pair.
