Very nice mild, smooth shave this morning using my vintage 1973 Gillette Super Speed with the black handle loaded with a Kai blade on its 4th use, still sharp and smooth. Lathered up with Cella using the Parker badger, post shave was Thayers, followed by Proraso aftershave and balm.

Added the new Timeless Slim.5 SS finished in rhodium from Razor Emporium to my travel den which is in room that I rent with a private bathroom. This razor has now taken a well deserved center stage.
Just received my new Timeless Slim.5 SS in rhodium finish which is an option when purchasing from RE. This has to be one of the most beautiful pieces in my collection. From my research it is a moderately aggressive razor with light blade feel and extremely smooth and efficient. Made in Ohio, USA. Can’t wait to shave with it!

This morning was my first shave with my new OneBlade SE SS razor using a Feather proprietary blade. I did a face lather with Proraso white sensitive skin using the Omega synthetic brush followed by Proraso aftershave and balm.
The shave was remarkably smooth and efficient on two passes which inspired me to do an ATG pass, which typically I don’t, due to lasting skin irritation.
I didn’t feel it during the third pass but afterwards I felt it, quite a bit in fact. The alum block helped but I’m going to probably feel it for at least a day maybe two.
I did order the OneBlade carbon blades as I have read here that they are smoother on the skin, last longer and less expensive alternative.

Just received my new OneBlade personally engraved Genesis stainless steel SE razor.
I did quite a bit of research before purchasing this razor, and I’m really looking forward to shaving with it. OneBlade now offers an alternative, less expensive blade that was previously only available as a Feather proprietary blade, and the consensus was only two shaves per blade.
This razor exudes quality and functional beauty.
Two new razors arrived today to drop into my travel den. The recently paused but restarted Blackland Osprey and the very available Goodfellas Smile Styletto V2 in polished stainless steel.
Both of these razors are incredible works of art while being incredibly versatile and efficient.
I have yet to shave with them and I will post my experience with both.
