What should i do?

I had an interview three days ago for an Associate position at Walmart. The manager told me he would review my interview that night and get back to me, but I haven’t heard anything yet.

Today, I went to the store to ask for an update. I spoke to an employee who works there, and he checked with the manager for me. The manager said he would get back to me within the next few days.

What does this mean? Should I just wait a few more days, or could this mean they’re not moving forward with me?

After Interview

I had an interview yesterday for a Grocery Associate position. The manager asked about my availability, and I told him I have open availability. The conversation felt positive. He said my availability was great and mentioned that after three months, I might be able to get more shifts.

At the end, he said something like, “I’ll review everything tonight.” The interview was yesterday evening, and I still haven’t heard anything yet.

I know it hasn’t been very long, but I’m wondering: How long should I wait before following up, and when can I realistically expect a decision?

Need Tips

I have an interview for a part-time Grocery Associate position at Walmart. When I applied, I put open availability because I’m available to work on any day of the week. However, I’m hoping to work around 24–30 hours per week, ideally across three days, so I can use the remaining days to focus on my other work.

I’ve seen some posts on Reddit saying that Walmart sometimes gives part-time employees more than 35 hours a week, so I’m a little concerned.

Would it be okay to tell them during the interview that I’m looking for around 24–30 hours per week? I’m also worried that mentioning this might reduce my chances of getting hired.

Interview tips - walmart associate

Hey, I have an interview at Walmart the day after tomorrow for a Grocery Associate position. I don’t have any previous retail experience. Do you have any tips for the interview? I’d also like to know what the job is like, what the main responsibilities are, and what I should expect during the interview.
