Just picked up my first velvet worm last week after wanting to keep one for years. I would love to hear from any experienced keepers since info on care is so hard to find, especially for this species in particular.
I am absolutely obsessed with this fish and can't wait to experiment with breeding them. This species is a true annual killifish endemic to seasonally flooded marshes on the island of Zanzibar.
Just noticed this little guy in my tank. Certainly looks like a male fiddler crab with one big claw. I would not expect fiddlers to be lfs hitchhikers since they don't usually live in tropical reef environments. I buy natural seawater from the lfs for water changes, could he have come in as a larva that way?
