After a recent visit to the beach, i think ive almost finished my questioning of being a merkin. Since i was a kid i had a strange draw to anything mermaid related. It was always kind of something i was interested in and it never went away. I even wore mermaid tails and swam in them. Obviously these don’t make me a Mermkin but being a Merkin explains these. I believe it’s just become part of my identity now without realizing. I even subconsciously stand in a way where my legs are crossed to form a fin shape subconsciously (have done it since i was a kid, it just feels natural and comforting). I don’t think there’s any doubt to have.
