3rd Gen Factory TRD with 35’s

I have navigated this subreddit along with a few others in search of whether or not a 3rd gen Tundra can take 35’s stock. First off, I want to start by saying my local off road shop said Nitto, BFG, and Falken all have different sizes for the same size tire. He explained it is the same as trying on shoes, a Nike 10 is not the same as a Hoka 10. We all know this.

He said BFG run small, Nitto runs true to size, and Fallen run large or sometimes true to size. He said these NITTO RECON GRAPPLERS 285/65/R20’s are not even advertised as 35’s but they are larger than the BFG KO3’s 35’s that claim to be 35’s.

Anyways this is a 2025 1794 Hybrid with the TRD OR package. Nothing else, factory wheels, no spacers, no lifts, nothing. Fit like a glove and DO NOT RUB. Enjoy boys!

NOTE: the last photo is the stock Falken Wildpeaks that came on the TRD OR package. Roughly 31.5’s

Lifts and Powertrain Warranty Void (3rd Gen)

Question: Does anyone know if adding a lift outside of the official Toyota 3” TRD lift will void the powertrain warranty? I know they of course recommend it, but I am more asking about the legalities of the powertrain warranty being voided. I purchased the truck new because of the lifetime warranty and I added the wraparound powertrain until 100k miles. Advice appreciated!
