Hey guys.

Just wanted to ask....what are your preferences for courses at GIPE and what is the basis of your ranking them ?

Like, do you look at placement ROI, academics, institutional brand, price tag or what ?

Cuz GIPE is very, VERY expensive. Around 8-12 lakhs total, all expenses included....close to Ashoka's price tag, tbh. So, would you go if you got a course there with a not-so-good or poor placement record ? What justifies admission there according to you all ?

Also, if you got a so-so course at GIPE vs. you had the 4th Year option for DU or your own uni or maybe an MA/MSc admit to some other uni with a significantly lesser price tag, which one would you choose ?

Needed a little help.

So, long story short, I had an unexpectedly bad day on March 12th while giving the exam cuz I got allergies the night before and was stoned on two cetrizines during the exam.

When the score cards came out, I was shocked by mistakes I don't even remember making to answers that were so obvious and then there were the others which I had left out of fear of negative marking and the general haze that I was in.

Cut to the final result, I got a 151. Now this entirely dashed my dreams of going to DSE (obviously) and totally ate up any confidence I had.

Due to some issues in the past, I faced a similar situation during CUET UG and my undergrad is a BA Program Economics from DU. So naturally, this situation felt like an ugly sense of deja-vu and also, because I had always been good at academics throughout school, the expectation to fix the BA Program mess and get into a good Masters is also very high, both from myself and my family.

Now, I intend to give a select few entrances again next year, but I do need an admit to a respectable university this year too.

I have filled for all courses at GIPE. Do you think I can get into any of them in the first list and then put it for upgrade ?

What about SAU ?

I still have the GIPE GCET Round 2 exam left, but considering how DU has put a final exam that day and is refusing to change the date, I don't know if I will even be able to appear for the exam.

Please help me out.
