Hi everyone,
I’ll be in Hokkaido in June and specifically between the 8-10th in Shiretoko. Our accommodation is in Utoro and we have a car. We want to go hiking and do the whale watching tour in Rausu.
What would you recommend us doing?

We are in our mid 30s and in good health. I am aware we need a guide to go hiking. We do not plan to do any major climbing but a nice hiking trail would be nice.What trails would you suggest for this time other than the five lakes?

Should we do the whale watching tour in the morning or in the afternoon? Is there any operator you recommend?
