Mesh network to provide wired connection
Hello Unifi people,
Currently renting a house without any structured cabling.
Just want to sanity check before buying anything.
Plan would be:
-Unifi UDR 7 downstairs where fiber comes in
-U7 In-Wall in upstairs office powered by POE injector and in mesh network
-U7 In-Wall 2.5GbE out would connect to a switch in my office to provide connectivity to homelab.
Just want to make sure that this would still work, did this a few years ago with older Unifi equipment.
I know Unifi does the Device Bridge Switch, but I ideally in want the switch to be a in the cab where it's tidy. But happy for the AP to be on the wall.
