Really need help in deciding!

I've recently entered grade 11 and chose Humanities as my stream. My family and friends were super shocked, especially when I mentioned my interests (Digital art/Graphics Designing/Animation). They always saw me as a science student, going into research field etc. (My result of 99% in 10th boards further heightened their mentality of toppers taking science)

I just feel super demoralized. People saying the jobs don't pay well, ai will ruin everything, you required mathematics as a subject etc. Did I screw up everything from the beginning? I really want to pursue the design field but I really don't know how! So I would really appreciate some guiding light!

I've been drawing (traditional and digital, but more inclined towards digital) since I was nine. Even started doing 2D animations. I do art events at my school here and there. I just love letting my creativity run wild and don't want to study a subject (Like science) where it's stifled.

I'm also exploring combinations of design + Japanese language. Maybe somewhere in Japan via a scholarship? I've been studying it since I started drawing and will give N3 (a Japanese language proficiency test) by the end of 12th.
