SLP slight-mild high frequency hearing loss- hearing aids

I have a hearing loss related to noise exposure as a musician (and a few concerts in my youth ;) I am working in some larger preschool classrooms and feeling like my hearing loss is impacting my ability to hear those higher pitched voices in background noise. I’m fine in smaller settings… but get 16 voices in a classroom and it’s trickier for me.

I am considering looking into hearing aids of some type to support me in those types of settings. Does anyone have anything that worked well for them? I don’t want to amplify everything, just the kids I’m sitting closest to.

I also make accommodations by working with my students in smaller environments, corners of the room, etc. but I also like to be able to model/observe/ interact in their more naturalistic settings.
