Job is so shitty!

Y’all, I wouldn’t lie to you, I wish I was in my 50s-60s right now to pass this stage of job hunting. It is tiring and stressful. It also gets depressing because rejection after rejection affects your mood. You apply to thousands of places, from retail to housekeeping to administrative work like receptionist, to jobs that matches your degree and still no response. What even is annoying, is that they don’t tell you “WHY”.
I recently applied to a job, receptionist role, the description was vague, even the skills and qualifications were vague. In the description it says, “even if you don’t have the skills aligned you are encouraged to apply”. I got an email, “you don’t have the qualifications that aligns with the job description”. WHAT JOB DESCRIPTION?!
Additionally, at the end of the day, the company will train you. You are still going to learn. Even with skills you have, you are still learning. Life is a cycle of learning, you never stop! So what actually is the point.
Even with stupid housekeeping jobs, I CLEAN EVERY SINGLE DAY! Talking about, “previous experience in cleaning” LIKE ALL MY LIFE, I WAS CLEANING. It is so dumb and stupid, if i ever meet the person who write those description, I would let them know how dumb what they are writing is.
Y’all, I don’t even know what to do at this point. Should I quit because I don’t want to be sad all day because of a rejection, should I keep on applying and tailoring my resume? I am just extremely tired of it all.
