What does my future look like?

What does my future look like?

So I just came across this post..and how do I frame this? It’s just..gut-wrenching tbh.
Around 450 people upvoted that thing and while I do agree that disobeying parents aimlessly REGARDLESS of our gender is stupid. But is asking for freedom to do what guys are already able to do and for pushing back the part of our culture that genuinely is oppressive and regressing a bad thing? Why are girls who decide to push back their parent’s ideas stupid wh*res while boys just get called “teenagers”.

I am genuinely scared to step out into the world as a young adult knowing there are people like this living amongst us with so much desire of just not seeing us as equal. It’s always just “women should stop taking alimony” “women are more favoured in the court” “women feel proud in calling themselves r*ndi” but never asking what led us to this.
While I do not condone the whole #proudr*ndi movement bcz ultimately it will desensitise us and get rooted in our culture so deep that one day we will think we shouldn’t have made a cuss word so commonly used which degrades women so much, but also think how much more backlash that woman had to face for making a mistake so bad even though her intentions might have been for the better than people who are already normalising that word amongst the youth where now boys think they are so cool after commenting that under a woman’s video.

I am so scared to bring another child into this world knowing that it would have to see such monstrosity of the thing we romanticised as life.

I am scared to think that my partner maybe having similar views regarding women.
Is this what my future looks like?

I don’t even hate men, I am not a misandrist, but is this the cost of being born amongst them?
Is this what my future looks like?
