I posted a few weeks ago about non clinical staff working remotely… it can be done

Hey all. I posted a few weeks ago wondering whether non clinical staff could work remotely and many said it couldn’t done and few said it can. I can confirm my Trust do allow it and I’ve had someone approved - I wonder if it’s Trust to Trust rules? Either way; don’t ask and you won’t know!

Have a good day.

Has anyone NON clinical ever worked remotely before?

Have you been able to work from another country and how long was it approved for? Is your job fully remote or hybrid?

Interview, damn did I mess up before I even began?

All hospitals work differently. At my current Trust at SENIOR level (8c+), people can reach out to the panel just to introduce themselves, have tours around the department. Nothing formal and it’s usually quick.

I have an interview for another hospital. When I found out the panel, I asked to reach out introduce myself because competition is so tough and they said no that’s not fair. I was showing eagerness and easing my anxiety…

People have mixed opinions on this…. Thoughts? It’s only worsened my anxiety lol.
