I only got two films this criterion sale: "High and Low" and "Stray Dog" and I'm very happy to have them! I kept thinking I had already bought high and low but realized I hadn't. I'm trying to get all the Kurosawa Blurays that have been put out. I still need to see Ikiru, Sanjuro and High and Low so hoping to watch those soon! My next pickup (probably next sale) is definitely gonna be an upgrade to the very old criterion DVD I have of Hidden Fortress (which I also haven't seen) but Kurosawa is my favorite director of all time, gotta get what I can!

I just got this, and I'm hoping to get more! I've found myself going into some classic manga, got Devilman and Cutie Honey, Captain Harlock and the original Kamen Rider manga! I really love this stuff, wondering what else to look into that's classic like this! (I've also started collecting Gachiakuta and Daemons of the Shadow Realm, so I'm not exclusively following the classics!)

Way back before I got into more contemporary manga I was super into Go Nagai, Shotaro Ishinomori and Leiji Matsumoto. I found this at a store yesterday and decided it's finally time to explore Osamu Tezuka! It was a toss up of whether I wanted this or the Omnibus of "Princess Knight" but I ended up going here. Anyway, hi to everyone! I hope I fall in love with this and become active here! So how did I do? Good for newcomers?
