Bookkeeping for a small business is harder than I thought

I spend more time untangling my finances than doing the work that earns me money. Every month I'm reconciling invoices, figuring out which expenses were business related, and trying to remember why I made certain purchases. I thought running a freelance LLC would mean more freedom but the admin side has become its own part time job. The worst part is I still don't fully trust my numbers when tax time comes around.

How are you handling yours? CPA? DIY?

Formed my LLC two months ago as a non US resident and I've been rejected by three different banks trying to open a business account. Mercury said no, Relay said no, even tried a local credit union and got nowhere. They all want me to either show up in person or provide documents I don't have like a US driver's license. My LLC is completely legitimate and I have my EIN but I can't actually use the business without a bank account. This is beyond frustrating.
