1. I have heard that VIT forces students who don't satisfy the 60 km range to stay in their hostel. Is this true? Are there any workarounds for this?

2. What are the documents that they would check to confirm this? If Aadhaar card address is checked, will they check my parent's card as well?

3. What procedures would they follow to approve a student's request for being a day scholar?

4. Any exceptions for students having health issues?

1. What is the difference in choosing CSE Spec. and CSE Core? I have heard that the curriculum at the beginning is same and only differs at the final year. Is that true?
2. Are CSE Core students given more preference in terms of placements?
3. Do placements vary for each School (SELECT, SCOPE etc.)?
