Hi everyone,

i’m currently doing my bachelor’s in Automation Engineering in Italy and i’m interested in the MSEE offered by SJSU.

I’ve already read the official admission requirements written on the university website, but I’d like to hear from current students or recent admits the actual requirements and the level of competition.

A few questions:

- I’ve seen the minimum GPA requirement is 3.0. In practice, what GPA do admitted international students usually have? The conversion between italian and american grades is crazy…

- Is the cv important? like projects or extracurricular activities. because at the end of my bachelor I’ll probably have only a sort of internship here in Italy.

-Does the reputation of the undergrad institution metter or is it an automatic admission? my uni is currently 20th for Engineering & Technology in QS rankings.
