What general aspect of Endfield do you think needs to be prioritized rn for improvement?
I’m fresh off the survey and I’d like to just to get a general picture of what people here think is most pressing for EF rn. whether for its quality as a game, its health as a live service, or personally for your own enjoyment. I picked out the general aspects that I often see brought up.
Personally, I think it’s the story since it’s what I expected to be the most defining quality the game would have as an Arknights title. I wasn’t really expecting it to be great out of the gate, but certainly not so lower than expectations that it boggles my mind how it came to this. Things have largely improved, to be fair, but is still not yet enough to make up for the weak foundation it started with. My bias is that I can deal with a lot of gameplay clunkiness if it all has a solid narrative to hold it together. EF’s story is by far its weakest aspect for me rn. In most other cases, I would’ve dropped it already, but so much of the rest of the game is so darn good and polished that I feel the urge to stick with it and see its potentials realized. Plus, I loved og AK and would love to see EF reach similar heights. There’s another bias lol.
