B12-like wake up symptoms
b12 - like wake up symptoms
I'm having a similar response from Urolith A as it seems people have who go from being vitamin 12 deficient, to being at the adequate levels. I have had non stop anxiety since I took to supplement, and although my physical capacity has increased exponentially, my nervous system feels totally fried. I've developed hyperpots and my body keeps twitching. Bloods show high cortisol.
I understand part of this can be from not having the right cofactors. The coenzymes required for mitochondria production (which urolithin A triggers) are derived from b vitamins 1, 2 3,5,6,7,8,12. I was also supplementing coq10, ala and NAD+. I wasn't taking a complex b supplement, and instead was just taking b12, folate, and p-5-p (vit b6).
The metals used are iron, iron-sulfer, magnesium, and manganese.
And the amino acid derivatives used are acetyl-L-Carnitine and lipoic Acid.
Does someone much smarter than me know if mitochodria reproduction on a large scale would deplete any of these minerals / vitamins / amino acid derivatives and worsen "wake up" symptoms. I'm getting my magnesium tested, and I can pay extra to get b3 and b6 tested, but would it make more sense just to buy a good complex b vitamin? I'm getting quite scared of vitamins, as I didn't know taking b12, copper and d3 depleted other vitamins when I took them. But it's so expensive to test every vitamin / mineral.
In past tests my total haemoglobin count has been dry, my morning cortisol and prolactin high, and my copper low. Everything else has been within range, including potassium and iron / ferritin. It's also possible I'm not lacking co factors and my body is just freaking out bc it hasn't had this much energy in a year (I was previously 95% bedbound from me/cfs)
