What was your favorite part of NLC?

NLC is almost over! What was everyone's favorite part!

My favorite was meeting tons of new people, including a few who knew me from the Sub Reddit! Also the NLC Stats usage numbers were up so high this week! Thank you guys for making it my top website ever!

So what was your favorite part of NLC?

Correcting the NLC Headcounts

Hey everyone,

Quick update to my previous post about the 2026 NLC stats: the numbers I posted earlier counted total event spots rather than unique individual students. Because many competitors register for multiple events (especially at the Collegiate level, where over 66% do), the actual headcounts were overcounted. The unique student headcounts are actually 11,754 for High/Middle School (down from 12,138) and 1,135 for Collegiate (down from 1,964). The app has been updated to deduplicate everything across all leaderboards and rosters—sorry for the mix-up!

Also, I need your help adding historical data! If you competed in previous years, you can likely still access past event data in the official FBLA app. If you can log in, go to past events, head to Documents, and check if you can export the full schedule and winners list, please DM me or comment below so we can get past years added to the stats!

Thanks for everyone who engaged in my last post giving me the motivation to keep developing and finding bugs like this!

I analyzed the NLC event schedule data so you don't have to (12,138 attendees total!)

Hey everyone!

Ever wanted to know exactly how many people you’re competing against at NLC this year? Or how many students your state actually sent?

I scraped the public NLC event schedule data and built a live tracker dashboard that breaks down all of it, including commit rates for specific events! What you can see right now:

  • The Big Picture: There are exactly 12,138 attendees registered for NLC this year.
  • State Power Rankings: See a full leaderboard breakdown of student counts by state delegation.
  • Event Competitiveness: Look up your specific competitive event to see your exact number of competitors and the drop-off/commit rates.

Check it out here:https://fbla-nlc-stats-26-production.up.railway.app/

Source Code: https://github.com/Papaya-Voldemort/FBLA-NLC-Stats-26

The site is currently a bit of an MVP since it's just running on this year's static data, but I’m planning to add historical data from past years soon so we can see year-over-year trends.

Drop a comment and let me know what other features or metrics you want me to add! Good luck to everyone competing in a couple of weeks!

Intro to Programming

Hey is anyone else going to NLC for intro to programming? I would like to find out if its prejudged or if anyone has any tips? I won first in state but I think it was a fluke and need to prep like crazy to win nationals.
