Hey everyone, I just got assigned to SAP MDG (Master Data Governance) Technical Consultant (ABAP+MDG) at my company. To be honest, I'm a bit stressed out because I see a lot of doom-posting online saying SAP is outdated, there are no opportunities, and it’s a career dead-end compared to mainstream Full Stack or AI roles.

I want to know the ground reality from people working in the industry: Is SAP MDG worth staying in? What does the learning curve, market demand, and salary growth look like in India and abroad after 2-3 years? If I stay, what technical skills should I prioritize to maximize my market value?
