Looking ahead of current seasonal position: when is it too early to apply to a position?
I just started my first seasonal full time keeper position! I consider it to be my first "big girl keeper job", but it will end 6 months from the day I began employment there.
With the earliest I could start my next position being early November, is it too premature to apply for recently posted positions?
Should I add my current position to my resume even though I've only been in it for a few weeks (+ would be a red flag? Like already looking for the next thing after just starting my current job. Personally I find it understandable since it's a seasonal job with a hard end date).
Luckily my resume isn't bare without my current job. I do have volunteering experience and 4 internships at AZA facilities, including one paid internship which had high level responsibilities such as lock checking for class 1 species. As well as, another seasonal part time keeper job that was with domestic animals.
Should I add on my resume or cover letter "expected end date November x" or just bring it up in an interview if I get one?
Thank you for reading and any advice!
