Can anyone attest to how smooth gameplay is on a remote stream within the same state?

I live in North Carolina and am attending GalaxyCon in Raleigh this weekend. I want to have access to my Steam games in the gaming lounge but want to avoid lugging my gaming laptop, which is fairly heavy. I want to use Moonlight on my iPad and just remote into Sunshine on my PC.

The Raleigh Convention Center is located approximately 110 miles from my home. I’m not expecting for anyone to know “oh yeah, based exactly on that distance, I know exactly how smooth your gameplay will be and exactly how much latency, etc.”.

Just looking for general estimates. Is there anyone who has used Moonlight for remote streaming from a long distance (like another city), but within the same state?

And a quick follow-up. I don’t have a ton of cash to drop for VirtualHere. Does anyone know of any cheaper options to set up a USB server to use wired controllers during game streaming?

Edit: Appreciate all of the tips!

Trying to use a single Joy-Con on its side for an FPS. Is there a way for that to work?

I have an event coming up and want as many controllers as possible for when we want to play games. I'm looking to split my pair of Joy-Cons into two separate controllers (with grips to make them more comfortable to hold).

I want to make the split horizontal Joy-Cons viable if we want to play an FPS (GoldenEye, CoD, etc.). Despite the minimal number of buttons, I was able to map the necessary functions for a game like CoD (melee, sprint, killstreaks, etc.).

I was hoping to map the gyro to the right stick of a standard controller. I've seen tutorials of people achieving this with Joy-Cons, but when they are paired as one. When I try to use a single Joy-Con on its side, I can't seem to calibrate it properly.

I'm going for as if you were using a Nintendo Switch or Wii U Gamepad to play Splatoon. Is this something that can be done in reWASD?

Does anyone know how to set up an XBOX 360 DJ Hero turntable?

New DJ Hero player here. I found a couple of used DJ Hero turntables at a thrift store. Only problem is that one was an XBOX 360 turntable, but I knew I could configure it with Dolphin. After opening Dolphin and setting up an emulated Wii Remote with the "Turntable" extension, I see that the config is a bit more confusing than I thought.

Does anyone have a controller profile I could use, or at least know how to map it properly? For instance, the turntable has the green, red, and blue buttons, but I'm not exactly sure how to map "Green left" versus "Green right".

[USA-NC] [H] Mayflash Magic NS Adapter and Two Joy-Con Grips [W] $20 Cash App, Venmo

A Mayflash Magic NS Adapter, which allows you to plug in a wired controller and mask it as a different controller for a different console.

(For instance, you can plug in a Nintendo Switch Pro and make your PC think it is an XBOX 360 controller or use an XBOX 360 controller with a Nintendo Switch by disguising it as a Switch Pro).

I’m also throwing in a couple of custom Joy-Con Grips I got from Etsy years ago.
