Why does he only talk about climate change and COVID-19 with Republican politicians. It's like he needs a safe space to share his personal feelings that will echo them back rather than push back.

Even compare this to when they bring Scott Gottlieb on to talk pharma news. Dudes a Republican but has credentials and pushes back against the looney tunes.

Joe just gets free reign to share whatever he believes about these topics with apparently no legitimate fact checking by CNBC journalists and no input from experts. These segments are basically Steve Bannon podcasts.
