Statement of Need (India)
Hi all, I looked through the recent posts and noticed some of people had sent their applications to the old address for the Indian MoHFW like I accidentally did. I just wanted to ask if anyone had a way to contact MoHFW to confirm receipt since they’ve never replied to my emails. Their old phone number isn’t working anymore and neither are those I found through Google.
Also, would appreciate anecdotal information on whether they forwarded your documents and want the timeline for that was.
Edit: So another Redditor shared their number and MoHFW didn’t know why they needed to issue a fresh one. I’m changing institutions and their statements of need are institution specific. It’s a real hassle wince they don’t respond to emails but at least they confirmed they have my documents over the phone.
For people changing institutions or specialties, would recommend including that ECFMG memo for continued sponsorship highlighting why they need to issue a new one.
