I just bought 2 really cute off shoulder sundresses for the summer. They look really good and fit me well, but if I wear them for more than 10 minutes the elastic starts to dig into my upper arms and hurts.

I have no sewing skills or supplies so doing alterations on my own won't work. Are there any tricks or tips to make the elastic hurt less but still hold the dress up?
