Regular or genius butterfly weft for fine hair
I have fine hair and have been wearing about 60–70g of nano I-tip extensions for the past couple of years. I always wish I had more volume, but my stylist struggles to find enough space to install more than 60g comfortably.
I’m considering switching to a butterfly weft. Since I have fine hair, would it make more sense to use a lighter weft in the 50–60g range?
I already purchased a butterfly weft that weighs 105g. I would absolutely love that amount of hair if it could look completely undetectable, but I’m wondering what the downsides are of using a weft that thick on fine hair. Is it mainly visibility, tension, comfort, damage risk, blending… or all of the above?
Would it make sense to still use a few nano I-tips in certain areas for blending/filling gaps?
Also, if anyone has a butterfly weft brand on Amazon that they genuinely recommend for fine hair, I’d love suggestions.
