“What’s even the point of a big wedding?”

I have heard this from multiple family members. It’s so frustrating. They say “I don’t see the point in a big expensive wedding”. Ok? Why does anyone throw a wedding then! Oh my favorite comment - “a huge wedding just to end up divorced?” My fiancé and I have been together for ten years already like lol. Also, these are the first people to talk sh** if a wedding isn’t up to standards or looks less expensive so YOU CANT WIN.

I’m just so over how having a wedding has family members thinking it’s open forum to share their opinions and comments. I have asked for zero input from anyone other than our mothers (who are great) and yet hear sooooo many comments. I would never offer negative comments about someone’s wedding like what the hell. We were thinking of increasing our wedding budget and we were like does our family even deserve that?? And it sucks to think like that but it’s sadly true. I wish we just had an insane micro wedding but my fiancé’s family/culture does not allow that.

This hasn’t made me less excited or anything I’m just soooooo over hearing unsolicited opinions. I know most are just projecting I just don’t want to hear it. 🧘🏻‍♀️

My 2 voids (female and male, 6yrs) had their yearly exam and I was informed they both need a dental cleaning and my male cat needs a left back tooth and right upper canine removed. I feel awful for him but I am a frustrated because my cats have always gone to their yearly appointments with the same vet and every year I ask should we do a dental. The vet would brush me off and say they are fine but now it’s escalated to needing teeth removed. Why didn’t they just tell me to do the dental cleaning sooner to prevent the extractions?

I started doing research after the fact unfortunately and discovered they should have had a dental at 3 but when I would push for it they would say it’s not needed.
