Just released my first iOS app - SetFlow 🎉

SetFlow is a workout timer + log I built to make following workouts simpler without constantly managing timers between sets.

You can build workouts, automatically time sets and rest periods, track sessions, and import workouts from screenshots/images.

Pretty happy to finally have it out on iOS.
Would love any feedback if you try it:

I’ve spent years building this app, and I genuinely need to know if anyone actually wants it

This isn’t really a launch or success post. I’m at the point where I need honest feedback, even if the answer is that I’ve spent too long building something people don’t need. I first had this idea years ago, before the current wave of AI coding tools. Along the way, building it also became how I taught myself to code and experimented with technologies I never thought I'd be able to use. The internet felt increasingly fragmented. If something important, funny, dramatic or culturally relevant was happening, I had to jump between social platforms, news sites and different communities just to understand what people were talking about.

I wanted to build an app that could identify the topics and stories genuinely trending right now, rank them using evidence from across the internet, and provide enough context to understand why each one mattered. Not only traditional news, but sports, music, entertainment, gaming, tech, fashion, internet drama and whatever else people are suddenly discussing. That became NexusFlow Connect.

The app itself might look fairly simple, but the backend has taken me years of experimenting. I’ve spent a huge amount of time working on sources, ranking, clustering similar stories, extracting topics, generating context and supporting different countries.

I also wanted it to help people keep up with things they personally care about. You can follow a person, team, artist or topic and receive updates when relevant posts or stories appear across different sources. The idea is that you shouldn’t have to check several apps just to keep up with your fav footballer, musician or any other topic.

The uncomfortable truth is that I kept improving the technology without seriously proving whether people wanted the product. Building another feature was easier than asking whether the app deserved to exist. I barely marketed it, and now I’m wondering whether I’ve built something useful, communicated it badly, or simply spent years solving a problem that mostly bothers me.

So I’m genuinely asking for feedback. Not compliments and not downloads for the sake of downloads. After trying it, does the core idea make sense? Did anything feel immediately useful? What was confusing? Would you realistically keep an app like this installed, and if not, what would make you delete it?

I need to understand that before investing in an iOS version or continuing to make the backend even more complicated.

Here’s the Android app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nexusflow.connect

Thank you to anyone who gives it a real look. Harsh feedback is completely welcome. I would rather know the truth now than spend another year building blindly.
