Feature Idea: Dynamic Hostage Negotiation & Bank Heist Map (Inspired by Detroit: Become Human)

Hey everyone,

I’ve been thinking about ways to bring even more tactical depth into Ready or Not, especially regarding how we handle intense hostage situations. Right now, when you encounter a suspect holding a civilian, the reaction window is incredibly small, often resulting in an instant fail before you can even react.

I would love to see a Dynamic Negotiation System implemented, heavily inspired by games like Detroit: Become Human. Here is how it could work:

The Negotiation Mechanic: Instead of just shouting "Drop the weapon!", we could interact with suspects through a megaphone or phone lines. This would open a dynamic dialogue menu with a timer. Depending on the clues we gather beforehand (blueprints, suspect background, motives), we unlock different dialogue options.

Stress & Compliance Meters: The suspect would have visible or hidden meters like "Panic Level" or "Willingness to Surrender". If you say the wrong thing, they panic and might shoot. If you calm them down, they might eventually drop their weapon.

Negotiation as a Tactical Distraction: This would be incredible for Co-op play. While Player 1 is actively negotiating and distracting the suspect, Players 2 and 3 use the time to breach from the back, place C4, or line up a perfect sniper shot.

The Perfect Map for This: A Bank Heist

To showcase this system, a classic Bank Heist map would be amazing. Imagine arriving at a huge bank in Los Sueños with barricaded doors and dozens of hostages. You’d have to choose between a slow, tense negotiation route or a high-risk, coordinated dynamic entry.

What do you guys think? Would you like to see more psychological tactics in the game rather than just pure gunfights?
