FPS Overlay, possible false positive?

FPS Overlay, possible false positive?

Hey there,

I've come across a lightweight FPS Overlay application https://github.com/aneeskhan47/fps-overlay that has some detection and I wonder if there is any merit to those.

The owner/creator offered some explanation about the issues in the

>Read Important Information Regarding Antivirus's False Positives

section of Github, however I'd like to ask an outsider opinion too, here as well.

Thank you for your time and your help!

Lost all my active tabs, but everything else is still in place

Hey there.

After a Windows restart, Firefox opened up as usual startup program, however there was only a single empty New Tab, instead of my dozens and dozens of previously opened tabs.

Everything else: history, downloads, cookies, bookmarks, extenstions are still in place, nothing changed, just the tabs went missing.

I tried to delete the current sessionstore file and replace it with the backup one, but didn't help.

I managed to find those missing tabs using Scrounger tool, they are all there, however I can't manage Firefox to open them for some reason.

I'm out of ideas about how to fix it. any suggestion is welcomed!

Thank you.

Hey there!

I've run a Malwarebytes search and got these results:

That .json file only contains a single line with an "ID=random numbers" in it and the folder doesn't include anything else, so I can't really locate what it might reference to or what created it in the first place.

Should I be worried? How can I determine which program recreates it everytime and where does it "report to"?
