In a slump… rec help?
I find myself in a slump. Absolutely loved Path of Ascension, Hell Difficulty Tutorial, Ultimate Level, Grand Game, Accidental Champion, Faceless Hunter. I liked Defiance of the Fall thru book 13. Nightmare realm summoner was good too.
Recently tried Book of the Dead, and it was almost good there’s just no combat at all on page. 1% Lifesteal overcorrected that issue, too brawl heavy. Mark of the fool seems too YA, DNF’d first book. Primal Hunter was good… until end of book 1 when it suddenly felt like everyone was just getting buffed by the gods for no reason (subjective ik). Did not like he who fights with monsters or iron heart.
I like a good blade mage hybrid build type with OP MC, non time travel. Bonus points, Recently I find myself leaning more towards the slightly darker MC’s.
