i’m on day 9 after my extraction all 4 of my wisdom teeth. the right side of my tongue has been numb ever since the numbness wore off for my mouth, i know that means one of the nerves got irritated during surgery but i can’t tell if it’s improving or not. i’ve been having burning sensations on my tongue and i think at least the tip of my tongue is back to normal. i genuinely can’t tell.

I just had my wisdom teeth pulled Wednesday and it's now Saturday. I've been recovering pretty well and have been following doctor's instructions but the right side of my tongue has been numb, I can't taste anything and it has a tingling/burning sensation. I've read that it could be because of my lingual nerve got irritated. and from I hear feeling a tingling/burning sensation means it is properly healing but I still don't know if that is true or not. I just wanted to ask on here to see if I'm just overthinking or not
