Water therapy

Has anyone tried water therapy in place of or in addition to the usual physical therapy? I'm considering this primarily as I have an arthritic knee on the same side as my surgically repaired ankle and because of the loss of muscle due to my 4-5 weeks of no-weight bearing, my knee is quite painful. I'm struggling to put full weight on it, and it's slowing down my recovery as a result. The ankle itself is in pretty good shape, very little pain or soreness, the swelling has gone down and I can fit in my pre-surgery shoes. But until I get my leg strength fully back, further progress will be limited. Would love to hear about anyone's water therapy experiences. I don't love swimming (unless it's 90+ outside) so I need some convincing that this is the way to recover faster before I'll commit.

Fourth trip to Scotland - looking for some new (to me), off the beaten path gems

I've visited Scotland 3 times over 30 years, one of my favorite places in the world. We'll be in Edinburgh in late August for the Fringe, then we'll have 5 days for some Highland adventuring. We are planning to spend a day or two in Glencoe, doing some mt. biking and light hiking and just soaking in those amazing vistas. Planning to swing through Glen Nevis and hike to Steall Waterfall. And then...? We are looking for suggestions for where to spend the last couple of days and nights before heading back to Edinburgh. We've been to Skye several times and were absolutely awed by its rugged beauty but want to try something new. Any suggestions for the last couple of days/nights - maybe something a bit off the tourist path, with stunning nature, cosy pubs, and a charming village or two? Open to suggestions for castles, distilleries, historical or prehistorical sites to visit as well. We will be traveling by car. Many thanks!
