Excuse my camera work, I’m not used to taking pics of myself (confidence issues but I’m working on it!). I took y’all advice about getting a hand held mirror to better see the angles I needed to brush. Now all I need is a shampoo bar and I feel like my progress will go even further. I’m a little over two months in (my hair grows slow). Any feedback and other tips are appreciated!

I was trying to go for a 360 swirl crown pattern but I think my angles in the back were wrong and now I’m contemplating restarting. Yes I was slightly bling brushing (I have a front facing mirror and a medicine cabinet mirror so I can’t completely see the back). Y’all think I should beep going or just restart?

I haven’t had short hair since I was 17 and I’m 30 now. I’m a little lost on all the techniques for waving but my hair is easily trained so it’s not all bad. I just cut my hair May 27th after having locs for almost 2 years.
