Ubisoft connect via Steam - does not launch anymore
Hi all,
Maybe somebody can help me with the following problem. Since I switched to Linux/CachyOS little over a month ago Ubisoft connect was running perfectly via steam.
I installed is via steam by adding a non steam game. Follow a great guide on youtube for the steam deck and it has worked flawless for the past month. This afternoon it started to act up. FIrst time it launched no problem. I updated Anno 117 and the Division 2. After the updates I tried to launch The Division 2, uplay closed and the game never started. Steam was reporting it was still running but I could not find any running process.
Fine, lets just stop Ubisoft Connect and launch it again. But now it does not launch anymore. Steam says it is running but there is no trace to be found of Ubisoft connect actually running.
Fine, Ill just reboot, it will work after, right? Well no... It just does te same. Steam says it is running but it doesn't do anything.
I checked and changes to proton compatibility later to no avail. The launch option targets are still correct, so now I am kinda at a loss.
Somebody that can point me in the right direction to get ubislop working again? As Google hasn't been able to get me to the next stage in troubleshooting I want to try some insights from this awesome community. If any logs are needed or extra information please let met know!
