I played my first song on ukulele

Pata Hai Aaj Kya Hua, So i have been trying to pick up hobbies to pursue in my spare time with help of youtube and i choose ukulele. its been two weeks of on and off, around 15 minutes after work when i can give time i practice, and i was finally able to play a song end to end. The feeling of achievement is like nothing else.
i choose this over guitar since i was not sure i will stick to it, but becuase its easier to learn and play, i was able to achieve short term goal of one song.
i must say this is a good instrument to start with, and now i am in love with this, seeking to level up.

This is a appreciation post for crochet (cant find appropriate flair)

I picked up crochet while looking for something artistic to do, on a friend’s recommendation. Before that, I only knew about knitting, so this was completely new to me.

What really stood out was how much you get back for the effort you put in. It takes time and patience, but seeing something slowly come together in your hands is very satisfying. I also didn’t expect it to be this calming. I don’t get a lot of time these days, but whenever I do, I end up sitting with it for long stretches.

So far, I’ve made a sunflower and a rose, and I’m currently working on a bouquet blanket. There’s something very rewarding about watching a simple thread turn into something you can actually hold or gift to someone.

Credit for the sunflower and rose goes to LingzhiHandmade, credit for bouquet blanket goes to Lilthings and Plakshi Jain.
