So every sparky comes across something weird once in a while but I thought this was pretty funny.

A customer said his original rangehood (2000s built apartment) was quite smelly and not working properly. Sure, a common problem.

Unit was working well but where was the air going?

After looking I found out the rangehood was blowing all the air back onto the cooktop via 2 openings at the back. Wtaf?!! The builder must have been smoking something pretty funky to think this design would actually do anything. Never seen this setup before and I assume the whole complex is the same.

Did some work for a client and just found this light globe full of water. The shade was full to the top as well. Light switched on but did not trip anything.

I wonder if the water would eventually boil.

Nup, not giving it a go.
