Victoria Mboko working with Wim Fisette!!!
I was watching Victoria Mboko's Strasbourg match against Lois Boisson, only to be surprised to see Wim sitting near Vicky's dad! I rushed to Google and found this news.
So, fresh from exiting Iga Swiatek's camp, Wim Fisette is now working with another top 10 player, albeit on a trial basis, for now.
Vicky is a power-player with an above-average serve, yet she mixes her game up with some counter-punching when necessary, enabling her to beat 4 slam winners - including Elena Rybakina, Naomi Osaka and Coco Gauff - during last year's WTA Montreal 1000 Masters tournament, and then beat Rybakina again this year in Doha, bringing their head-to-head to 2-2 before Mboko actually entered the top 10. So, this could be an interesting partnership.
Anyway, what you good people think; do you think Fisette and Mboko are a good match, style-wise? Or do you think there'll be a difference of ideas, the way some people believe there was between Iga and Wim?
