I don't have any news to share, but I was hoping to look more into any links between maladaptive daydreaming and Narcolepsy! I am formally dx'ed with type 1, for reference. I just wanted to see if anyone in this sub has looked into these things together before, or if anyone has their own experiences they would like to share!! This isn't formal research obviously, but I have been curious about how my childhood/relationship with maladaptive daydreaming! Unfortunately I have started to slip into daydreams and fully disassociate in some unsafe situations, and I am also not entirely convinced that my MD is entirely a mental health issue. So I would love to learn more if anyone has any resources or experiences they can share!!! Thanks!! :D
