Hey all, first timer in SD here. My wife has been a few times but we are going this June for our anniversary. We are staying in Pacific Beach area and have heard good things about La Jolla for food, but not quite sure.

I'd like to narrow down a few options for a decent fancy dinner on a Saturday night without spending a ridiculous amount of money. We are not picky eaters whatsoever and love good vibe restaurants, or those that provide an experience. We would like to be able to hear each other though and give us an excuse to dress up for once :)
