Indian with UAE Residency: Will having a 2025 Azerbaijan stamp cause issues at Armenian Immigration?
I’m an Indian citizen currently holding a valid UAE residence permit. I am planning a trip to Armenia this May (2026).
Since Armenia offers visa-free entry (up to 180 days) for Indian nationals who hold a valid UAE residence permit, the entry requirements on paper seem straightforward. However, I have a specific concern regarding my past travel history.
Last September (2025), I traveled to Azerbaijan and spent time in Baku and Gebele. Because of this, I have an official Azerbaijani entry/exit stamp on my passport.
I never visited the Nagorno-Karabakh region; my trip was strictly a standard tourist vacation to Baku and Gebele.
Would love to hear from anyone, especially fellow GCC residents or Indian passport holders who has done this route recently. Thanks in advance!
