Letrozole cycle
I have PCOS and this month I started my first cycle of Letrozole. Went to the Dr yesterday for a mid-cycle ultrasound (cd 12) and he said my body had responded well to the medicine. I have 2 large follicles on my RO, one being 21 mm and the other 27 mm. He told me that ovulation could happen at any time and to keep taking tests until I see a positive. Of course I came home and googled all my results and found a lot of articles saying that follicles that large are basically useless so now I’m concerned. Used OPK last night and again this morning and I’m still testing negative. :( He didn’t mention being concerned about it being “over-mature” or too large, but since I’m still testing negative for ovulation does that mean this cycle won’t work? :( Been TTC for about 4 years w/o treatment and I had super high hopes once I heard I responded well to the Letrozole. Now I’m not so sure. Has anyone experienced anything similar when using Letrozole and still end up ovulating and conceiving even with large follicles?
