Moving from GoDaddy to M365
Hi everyone, apologies if this is the wrong place but I'm a small business owner and have realised that Godaddy isn't as strong from a cyber security perspective as M365 directly. At least this is what we've been told by a number of ITMSPs. As a small business we can't afford to hire an IT person to move over to M365. I've already been in contact with Microsoft and have now paid for our M365 accounts but have been told by Microsoft that we have to set up our Microsoft accounts first, then deregister our domain with GoDaddy and then they can set up our domain to be direct with Microsoft. I'm slightly nervous of a loss of data when we deregister with GoDaddy. We are also running into an issue where when we go to set up our M365 accounts that we keep getting redirected to GoDaddy. Any help is massively appreciated
