New Fan-Made Game Looking For Feedback
As a huge fan of this show, I wanted to share a game I built called The Villa Exchange. It is a fantasy stock market game that you play while you watch the season live!
I wanted to get some feedback from the community before I spend more money into expanding the databases and finishing it.
How It Works:
- At the beginning of the season, all players start with the same balance (known as Villa Credits) and pick 3 OG islanders
- Each OG islander has the same “Market Value” at first, but based on their actions in the villa, their value increases or decreases after each episode (based on a preset scoring structure).
For example:
Ace has a current value of 35
He kisses someone else behind the back of Chelley (-15)
Ace’s new market value is 20
- Every morning the Market opens and players can ‘buy’ or ‘sell’ any of their current islanders for new ones based on the new values or how they think that islander is trending. The Market will close before the next episode starts and picks will be locked. This process would repeat daily (when an episode is scheduled).
- Bombshells are high risk, high reward and have special values to reflect that
How To Win:
As the season progresses, your goal is to pick up the islanders that earn the highest value over time. You want to have the highest-valued account by the end.
There’s a global leaderboard and you want to be on top. You can also search your friends by their usernames and star them to the top so you can follow their Bank balance as the season goes!
