I’m currently an ACD (art direction background) for a fortune 500 tech company in Seattle with 10 years experience working both in-house and agency-side. It may sound corny/cliché/insert favorite buzzword here, but I‘ve always wanted to work in the fashion/beauty/wellness space because its what actually interests me and what I’m passionate about. I would KILL for that to be my next career move as a Creative Director/Lead/Head (would be willing to relocate to CA) for one of those brands.

Has anyone successfully pivoted industries without it being a part of your previous work experience/resume? Any advice, anecdotes, etc are welcome, thank you!
