So a curious thing happened the other day - I pulled my newly purchased Faetooth album out of the jacket, slid it on the turntable and dropped the needle. Already familiar with the music, I could tell right away something was up - it was dragging hardcore. After a runs trying to diagnose the problem, I finally flipped the player to 45. Fixed. Now mind you, this was a 12 inch and nothing on the dust cover to indicate 45 vs/ 33 1/3.
